Career Experience
I have been teaching/tutoring for over ten years. My career in education began in college. During my time as an undergraduate student, I worked closely with underclassmen as a teacher's assistant (TA), and I tutored peers at my university through the Student Support Services (SSS) program. After I graduated, I began teaching high school English grades 9-12 where I was responsible for developing my own curriculum. Then, after moving to another state, I accepted a position as an adjunct English professor at a local community college. I also continue to tutor online, and I write blog articles for two companies.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because I love answering questions and helping people succeed. I believe that asking questions is the first step to success, and when it comes to English literature and language, I find that I have a lot of answers to a lot of questions. And if I don't, I enjoy finding out!
