Career Experience
I have 15-plus years of experience tutoring K-12 students, experience being a one-on-one paraprofessional working with K-12 students, and experience as a teacher assistant in classrooms, assisting with project preparation, group studies, and grading. I've successfully helped students, including college students, complete assignments, improve time management, and improve study skills for upcoming tests.
I Love Tutoring Because
I have worked with students through the years, and the way I see their improvement and their confidence is a tremendous feeling. I have seen college students wanting to move forward with their degrees and high school students being excited to go to class and share their knowledge, ready to take a test, improve their grades, and complete assignments on time. As time went on and the students worked on their studies, I would notice the students continuing to use the methods and techniques that I taught them in different classes. They would also be excited to share their accomplishments and feedback from their teachers. I could see their confidence grow, which affected their self-esteem, determination and confidence in everyday life.
