Hello! My name is Corbin, I am currently working as a teacher in Massachusetts. I have history in teaching math, English, and special education services. I am also currently a Teach for America corps member, in which I am working in an underserved high school. Last year, I also worked in an English language learning classroom, where I supported students in all subject as they began their journeys learning English. I tutored students one-on-one in many different environments and spaces since I was in high school and all throughout my college experience. During my time in college, I worked in the career services, where I worked one-on-one with students on developing their professional identities.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because I truly believe that one-on-one learning is the most effective method for students to understand concepts. In the standard public school format, there are so many students with so little time to understand each person's learning styles and understanding that tutoring can be incredibly powerful.
