Studied engineering in Portugal. Worked in electronic engineering for two years before moving to risk management in a European finance institution. Have been working in the US across several large banking institutions since 2014. At work I independently build and use mathematical models in python and Microsoft Excel to represent both stress testing of financial products and liabilities as well as regulatory capital requirements related to market risk and counterparty credit risk.
