I have informal experience tutoring homeschool students and college classmates.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love seeing that moment when it makes sense, when knowledge clicks into place. English class can be difficult due to the creative and fluid nature, formatted in grammatical structure. A lot of writing and reading is interpretational. Writing well is a difficult skill to develop, and I want to help people come to love it. At the very least, I want people to feel more confident in their writing. Learning in layers requires understanding each level to move on to the next, and it makes me so happy when I can get someone from point A to point B in their curriculum.

My tutor was really nice! She gave lots of helpful tips! Instead of doing and adding my work for me, she made me do it, which I think helped me learn better. She's better than any English teacher I ever had:) I'm definitely scheduling another session!
