Career Experience

After earning my undergraduate degrees in psychology and theatre, I worked in the zoo world for almost ten years, writing and teaching people of all ages about everything under the sun (both literally and figuratively- we taught outdoors a lot). I've spent most of my career learning new things and then figuring out how to share them with others: creating engaging educational programs, developing articles for publication, and writing/editing research based papers.

I Love Tutoring Because

the world is a really amazing place, and I genuinely believe every person adds to it- even if they haven't figure out how yet. I really enjoy seeing the students I work with successfully develop the tools to figure out challenges on their own, watching them go into the world to explore, create, and discover.
