Career Experience
Over the past two years, I have been a writing tutor at my college. During my time there I worked both as an in-person tutor and as an OWL (Online Writing Lab) tutor. Our main focus as writing tutors was to address global issues, but we also helped students navigate APA, MLA and Chicago Style formatting for a variety of subjects. Over the past school year, I interned as a student teacher in middle school English classes, giving me an insight on the earliest essay writing experiences, which I feel has greatly improved my feedback and help I can provide to students.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love to see others succeed. It is factual that no matter the field you go into you'll need to be able to write, and I love not only helping people with a short term project, such as an essay, but also equipping them with the skills they'll need to continue writing in the future.
