Tutoring is a genuine passion of mine because it allows me to bridge my experiences in STEM and other professional fields with the subjects I tutor. My career choice in STEM, particularly engineering, has honed my problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, which I can readily apply when assisting students with math-related challenges. Additionally, my work experience in sales has cultivated effective communication skills, which are invaluable when helping English ELL students grasp the intricacies of the language. Moreover, my involvement in residential life has enhanced my ability to connect with students on a personal level and understand their unique needs, promoting their overall student success. My background in mentoring and tutoring high school students while in college, as well as my prior experience tutoring elementary school students during high school, has enriched my ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and cater to each student's specific requirements. Tutoring allows me to merge these diverse experiences and skills, enabling me to empower students in a holistic way, whether it's in math, English ELL, or fostering their general academic success.
