Career Experience
I teach English to English language learners – college level students and adults. Previously I taught communication (public speaking and academic writing) at private and public colleges. I have also tutored elementary and middle school students in language arts and math.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy working one-on-one with students to help them achieve their academic goals and gain confidence in a subject area. In my approach, I typically provide help with skills and strategies so that students are empowered to learn, tackle challenges in the course work, and succeed in their assignments.
