I have been informally tutoring others since I was in high school. Whenever there was a test, I would be the one people wanted to study with! Once I was at university, I began to be paid to tutor students in years below me. I have been tutoring with Tutor.com from August 2022 and enjoying every minute.

I Love Tutoring Because

tutoring is always exciting; you never know what is going to happen next. I love being challenged, which tutoring does when I have to find the perfect way to explain a new concept. I love sharing new information and helping others to reach their potential. Tutoring allows me to help others and spend time with interesting people like you!

I had no idea what my professor was talking about when she wanted me to explain the writer's choices in relation to genre, describe the writer's purpose, explain the writer's choices in relation to the audience, purpose, and/or subject, determine the historical and/or cultural context, articulate the core idea, summarize details, and the support details of the text in my paper. My professor gave an example essay and that confused me even more. This tutor broke it down and explained each of these with examples. I can now start my paper. Thank you for helping me understand it.
