Career Experience
I have been a teaching assistant for organic chemistry for over a year and a peer mentor for STEM students for three years. In my responsibilities as a TA, I work with college-level students to aid them in comprehending upper-level concepts related to organic chemistry and work under two professors. In addition, as a STEM peer mentor, I assist incoming first-year students enrolled in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics courses in their transition to college and the STEM program.
I Love Tutoring Because
I find tutoring incredibly satisfying at the moment when the students I am helping reach a level of understanding. In addition, I appreciate the fact that many students struggle with biology concepts, and I enjoy bringing those concepts to life to ensure a greater understanding and a deeper appreciation of the sciences themselves.
