I have taught college English classes online and in person for more than 10 years. One of my favorite parts of that work was directing the writing center at my small college.

I Love Tutoring Because

empowering students to take ownership of their education is amazing! A tutor has the privilege and responsibility of meeting students where they are and assisting. I love getting to help students get to an “aha!” moment—that moment when students begin to understand the subject or figure out the problem or rewrite the essay.
