While completing my research in theoretical nuclear physics, I TA'ed four semesters of introductory algebra-based and calculus-based physics, with and without COVID conditions, and was shortlisted for the Graduate Associate Teaching Award after my first semester.
I Love Tutoring Because
I found during my TA experience that there's something very satisfying about watching the metaphorical lightbulb go on over a student's head, as they finally grasp a concept they've been struggling with.
