Career Experience

I have been tutoring for over thirty years. I also taught at the college and graduate school level. I am adept at explaining math concepts and how to solve math problems in ways that students can understand. I spent many years applying mathematics to investing and published over 50 professional papers, mostly in that area. Those papers used various math techniques, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, linear algebra, multivariate calculus, and stochastic calculus.

I Love Tutoring Because

I like to help people succeed by teaching them what they need to know. It is rewarding when a student who does not understand something “sees the light” because I can find a way to explain it in a way the student understands.

Robert is flexible and willing to work with his students on multiple ways to approach a problem. He took the time to show me an alternative approach to solving an equation and in doing so, cleared up some confusion I had on how to solve certain problems
