Career Experience
I started professionally tutoring in 2011, working with high-school students at first and then expanding to individuals of all ages. I've helped with subjects ranging from mathematics and office software to creative skills and lifestyle changes. I have experience planning lessons in advance based on established curricula or student questions, but I find the flexibility to help students achieve their goals in real time to be the most important skill as a tutor and the most inherently rewarding.
I Love Tutoring Because
I've always been excited to discover new information and share it with others. Thanks to the time I spent studying instructional design while earning my bachelor's degree, I am now more skilled at tailoring my teaching and tutoring to individuals' needs and abilities.
