Career Experience
I am an avid learner and teacher. I have a deep understanding of many complex topics related to math and science, and I am able to explain them to any audience in a clear way. I scored above 93 percentile in my GRE math and literature (as well as a perfect score on the Math II SAT II), and I believe I have the necessary knowledge to tutor SAT subjects. I like thinking about various examples and methods to teach these concepts. I have taught linear algebra, calculus, discrete math, probability/statistics, as well as English. I have tutored elementary schoolers in English (ages 3-12). I have also tutored college students in probability and linear algebra (ages 18-22) as a teaching assistant and grader. I believe my passion for these subjects makes me a great tutor for students at any level.
I Love Tutoring Because
I like working in jobs that involve communication and problem-solving, and I value practicing good communication, teaching, and service. I care about the impact of my work on the students. I find the mathematical and scientific concepts to be very interesting to teach, as they are very useful to learn. I have a great ability to walk my students through difficult problems. I am good at suggesting good examples and to help them logically break a bigger problem into smaller steps, and my great attention to details helps me guide my students with relevant tips or hints. My students who were taking university classes gave me positive reviews and earned top grades in their math courses.
