Career Experience
Hello, everyone! My name is Tracy, and I am excited to be your online tutor for elementary math and or science. I have had the pleasure of teaching multi aged students in a Montessori setting in the past, plus my own four children. I even taught preschool and was the curriculum coordinator for a chain of preschools. I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds. Making certain that each student understands and can implement techniques on their own makes me exceedingly happy.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because tutoring provides me the opportunity to enlighten a child. My children are all grown and when I see any child struggling with a problem I want to help, just as I did with my own. Giving students the tools they need to succeed is so fulfilling. Watching the wheels spin and then the proverbial light bulb light is so rewarding to me. That “ah-ha” moment of understanding and internalizing for each step is a self-fulfilling reward. Every student is capable of success and for some tutoring is their path that I love to assist.
