AP Human Geography interconnected world map

If you're an AP Human Geography Student, then you probably know that the exam is changing in May 2020. The updates make the test more predictable and easier to prepare for—and both of those things are good news for you.

For starters, the multiple-choice section is getting shorter. In previous years, it had 75 questions. This year, it features just 60 questions. To earn a score of 4 or 5, you'll need to get at least 40 of those 60 questions correct. You've got this.

Changes to the free-response questions are also to your benefit. The three FRQs will remain consistent from year to year—so you can prepare efficiently and effectively.
