As of June 15th, College Board has waived the fee for the October SAT for any student who had a negative testing experience due to the printing error. Please note, students must call the College Board by September 3rd to register for the October retake, but we advise students to call ASAP to ensure you get a seat. Call 866-756-7346 to register for free.
If you took the SAT on June 6, you may be one of the students affected by the printing error reported by Educational Testing Service (ETS) and College Board. Either section 8 or 9 depending on the edition of the test was affected by the wrong time allocation printed on the student test books. College Board has now announced (June 8th at 5:30 p.m. ET) that they will not score these sections, but will still provide students and universities with final scores.
You can read College Board's statement and FAQs regarding how they can score the test without these sections and follow us on Twitter for any additional updates.
