What does it mean to be a featured school?

The Princeton Review is a leading resource for prospective college students, providing detailed information and rankings on colleges and universities. Many institutions partner with The Princeton Review to enhance visibility and reach potential applicants through our advertising and marketing services. Colleges and universities that engage with The Princeton Review in this manner are considered “Featured Schools."

Being identified as a “Featured School” has no bearing on whether a school appears on a particular list or ranking. Being a Featured School also has no bearing in determining the rank of a school on ranked lists. Ranked lists are ordered based on the methodology for each respective ranked list (see the available “Rankings Methodology” links on the respective pages). Unranked lists can be sorted by the website visitor using controls on that particular page. These controls may include sorting by geographic proximity, by name, by size, and so on.
