Admission to the School of Medicine is limited to Louisiana residents. Requirements are one year each of Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and English. All science courses must include laboratory work. The MCAT is required, and scores should be from within three years of application. For applicants who have taken the exam more than once, the most recent set of scores is generally weighed most heavily.
