The Optometry Admission Testing Program (OAT ™ ) is required for anyone applying for admission to schools and colleges of optometry.
The OAT has four tests, covering four different areas: Survey of the Natural Sciences, Reading Comprehension, Physics, and Quantitative Reasoning. See more information about each section.
The OAT provides scaled scores between 200–400. The average score is 300.
