Thank you for choosing The Princeton Review for your test prep! Read this page thoroughly to get ready to make full use of all the amazing resources your program provides. This is an important step in achieving your goals!
What to do before your first session
- Your schedule is accessible online by logging into your account, opening your program and navigating to the Schedule tab of your Dashboard.
- You will be using the Schedule tab to launch your liveonline classroom for live lessons and to access recordings of past sessions.
- If you enrolled on behalf of a student (as a parent/guardian, for example), the Dashboard and Schedule tab will be visible through the student's account, not through your account.
- See "Access Online Content" (below) for directions on using your account.
- You will be accessing your online account regularly throughout your program. This is where you will use your dashboard to find key information such as your course schedule and syllabus, access your practice tests and drills, use score reports to analyze your progress, view supplemental online lessons, enter homework, and more.
- To access your online account, click Sign In in the upper right corner of any page on princetonreview.com.
- Your username/email address is the email address that you provided when you enrolled online or by phone.
- If you enrolled by phone and have never registered on princetonreview.com, you should have received an email with the subject “Don’t Forget to Complete Your Registration”. Use the link in this email or, if you do not have this email, click on Register under My Account and use the same email you provided when you enrolled. If you registered on behalf of a student, the student will also have received an email requesting them to "Complete Your Registration." The student should use the email address provided by the purchaser during the online or over-the-phone enrollment process. Note that the purchaser must complete account registration, including accepting The Princeton Review's terms and conditions, before the student account registration can be completed.
- If you have any difficulties accessing your online account, please contact The Princeton Review’s Student Technical Support at 1-800-273-8439, Option 2 (for enrolled students), Option 1 (for technical support), or email tprstudenttech@review.com.
- Once signed in, you will be prompted to complete a few additional onboarding questions for your program. After completing your onboarding, you will be able to see the main page of your dashboard and your available program.
- Your dashboard becomes available immediately upon enrollment. On your course page you will always be able to see the expiration date of your course content. MCAT content is available for 270 days with the count beginning 10 days before your first scheduled class, and all other test types have 120 days of access with the count beginning 10 days before the first scheduled class.
- Students who find that they need longer access to the Dashboard can inquire about The Princeton Review’s guarantee. Students also have exclusive access to purchasing extensions outside of their Guarantee.
- MCAT programs involve an extra step when first accessing your Dashboard. Please use the link at the bottom of this page to see additional details specific to MCAT students.
- Once you have access to your program Dashboard, check that your computer meets the minimum requirements. Please do this as soon as you can after your program Dashboard becomes available.
- Try accessing one of the drills or lessons on the Coursework tab to ensure it runs properly.
- Functionality issues can often be corrected by switching browsers to Google Chrome.
- If you appear to be having any issues, please contact The Princeton Review’s Student Technical Support at 1-800-273-8439, Option 2 followed by Option 1, or email tprstudenttech@review.com.
- Your program includes all necessary textbooks. Shipping times can range from 5-7 business days after enrollment depending on your location.
- You can check on your material shipment by going to My Account, Review your order history.

- If your materials do not arrive before your first session, you will have online access to the materials required to participate. You will find the necessary PDFs for class one and homework under the Resources tab.
- Many programs have pre-work to complete before the first session. Please use the links at the bottom of this page to see additional details specific to the test for which you’re preparing. Note that if you have chosen to enroll in a course that is beginning very soon or that has already begun, you may find some of the timelines and expectations challenging. You’ll need to do extra work, and should consult your instructor and The Princeton Review’s Student Support if you need help.
- View your full course schedule in the Schedule tab of your program Dashboard.
- Take the Dashboard tour, and read through the information on the Home and Resources pages. For many programs, these tabs also feature introductory videos for you to watch.
- Note that you are able to email your teacher(s) through the Schedule tab. Your teachers will provide additional expectations around communication by email during your program.
- Login to your first session (and every session) 15 minutes early. The Go To Class link for your LiveOnline class session in the Schedule tab of your Dashboard will become active 15 minutes early. We encourage you to use this time to make sure that you are fully logged into the classroom for the start of the session. Note that in rare cases when technical difficulties prevent students from logging in to the virtual classroom through the Dashboard, direct links may be sent out by email.
- Please take the time to provide information about your goals and prior test history if you did not do so when you first accessed your program Dashboard. It is especially important that you enter the actual date on which you expect to take the test. Note that if you have not entered a test date, your Dashboard will display a placeholder test date associated with your course which may or may not be correct.
- Enrolling with The Princeton Review does NOT register you for an actual test administration. If you need help registering, please use the link at the bottom of this page for the test for which you’re preparing.
- Your preparation will be most effective as part of a goal driven approach including committing to a test date that fits with your application plans.
- If you need to change your plans, don't worry! The Princeton Review is here for you if you need advice on when to test or any part of the admissions process.
- We encourage you to register for your official test as early as possible. Test administrations can and do fill up, often significantly before registration deadlines. Depending on the timing of your test date, registration may not be open before the start of your course. Watch your dates!
- Once you have registered and have a confirmed test date, please enter it in your dashboard. .
- This program is designed to prepare you for your upcoming test—if you meet some basic expectations: attend all sessions, take all required practice tests, complete all homework, including readings, lessons, and drills!
- If you miss a class session or simply wish to watch your lesson again, you can view the recording using the View Archived Session link that will be available in the Schedule tab of your dashboard. Recordings take 24 - 48 hours to appear after the class session has completed.
- Not all students have the same needs or goals! Your program includes resources to support you in working more on areas of weakness. Some students find it beneficial to use The Princeton Review’s tutoring and Homework Help services to tackle specific challenges.
- The Princeton Review guarantees your results! For full guarantee information, click here.
- If you enrolled by paying a deposit, the balance of your course fee will be deducted from the payment method on file 10 days before your first scheduled session.
- You can go to Settings under My Account to change your login information, update your contact information, update your profile, change your payment method, and review your order history.
- We appreciate that many students don’t review The Princeton Review’s enrollment Terms and Conditions, which are presented online as you enroll (or when you first access your Dashboard if you enroll by phone). Please consult the Student Enrollment Agreement page to read about payment terms, withdrawal deadlines and other important information.
- Please take special note that once class has begun there are no refunds available. Full details of this and other policies can be read on the Student Enrollment Agreement page.
- The Princeton Review gives you opportunities to provide feedback through formal evaluations during and at the end of your course. These evaluations are completed through your Dashboard. You will also be emailed a survey about a month after the end of your course around when you should have your actual test results. We hope that you will want to use these opportunities to confirm that you are delighted with your experience and results. The Princeton Review welcomes your feedback both on these evaluations and at any time so that we can help ensure the quality of our programs for you and for all students.
