At the time of entrance, students must have completed a minimum of three years(30 full credits)of undergraduate work. And two years (20 full credits) must be above the year one level of courses. Only degree credit courses taken at an accredited university are considered. Applicants must have achieved an overall simple average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in their academic work at the time of application. There are no specific prerequisite courses and the MCAT is not required. Students granted admission must be proficient in spoken and written English. All students are required to have obtained a current certificate in Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to registration in the medical program.
