Career Experience
In 2012, I began my career working in the service industry as a restaurant team member, trainer, and manager. One year later, I began serving my undergraduate institution as a sound technician and resident assistant. In each of these roles, I provided guidance, counseling, and advice in addition to ensuring safety and satisfaction pertaining to services received in each setting. I began teaching in public schools in 2016. My teaching experience has focused on areas of music education, but has also included providing success supports, tutoring, and mentoring both for my students and my colleagues.
I Love Tutoring Because
One of my absolute favorite aspects of teaching, tutoring, and providing success services is seeing and hearing the excitement of my students when a concept is finally clear. I have also found incredible joy in seeing the accomplishments that follow these "light bulb" moments. It is my goal to provide students the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to be successful in any path they choose to pursue.
